WHY IS MY PET ACTING SO STRESSED, ANXIOUS, OR NONSENSE?
Let's make one thing clear from the start. The animal is not annoying. It just doesn't know how else it should, may, or can behave.

For convenience, I will use a dog as an example, but this technique is applicable to any animal, whether it is a mouse or an elephant! Whether it concerns neglect, abuse, or poor socialization, for animals it is actually no different than for humans. Most problems they experience in their '(adult) lives' stem from prior negative experiences or incorrectly learned habits. Think, for example, of fireworks, or if the dog was once attacked by another dog, or received a hard kick from someone, or attacked the vacuum cleaner, etc. As a result, your dog or any other pet can become extremely stressed, or even traumatized.
HOW CAN THAT BEHAVIOR CHANGE?
It is difficult to connect with an animal that is highly emotional or has shut itself off. However, by bringing yourself fully into the present moment, you can also lower the animal's level of thinking (read: level of emotion). Once that has happened, you can make an energetic connection and thus connect with the animal.
So, just like humans, animals have a level of thinking. On a scale of 0-10, this looks as follows:
10 Blind panic;
09 High level of stress;
08 Stressed;
07 Excited, but doesn't hear you;
06 Happy, but starting to hear you;
05 Becomes calmer, making contact is possible;
04 Head begins to drop;
03 Eyes become soft;
02 Can barely keep my eyes open;
01 Eyes closed;
0 Healing state. (comparable to REM sleep but deeper).
As you can see in the list above, an animal starts hearing you from level 6. Before that time, you can scream, shout, swear, or act angry, but you are, so to speak, 'out of the picture'.

WILL IT TAKE A LONG TIME BEFORE THERE IS IMPROVEMENT?
We will certainly see changes in the first session. However, we are entirely dependent on how the animal responds to the sessions regarding the changes that are already present after this session. In addition, I will teach you how to be present in the NOW, and you will practice with your animal. After a week, I will contact you to see how things are going, and if you feel you need more help, we will make a new appointment. Everything we do is at the animal's pace. The sessions take place on location or can be conducted online.
WHAT IS THE TRUST TECHNIQUE ACTUALLY?
In the following video, I will give you a brief explanation of my way of working.
Mindfulness for animals: rest and recovery
Benefits of mindfulness in animals
Mindfulness helps animals reduce stress and regain their natural balance. Through targeted techniques, behavioral problems can decrease and emotional blockages can resolve.

Behavioral change through mindfulness
Mindfulness lowers the thinking level of animals, allowing them to relax better. This often leads to a positive change in behavior and a reduction in aggression.

Anxiety reduction and emotional recovery
Mindfulness also helps animals process fears and let go of traumatic experiences, which strengthens their well-being and emotional stability.
Reaching the Healing State
In the Healing State, animals can deeply relax and find inner peace, which forms the basis for long-lasting positive changes in their behavior and health. Some animals naturally still need to 'keep an eye on things'.

Communication and connection
Mindfulness creates a better connection between animal and human, allowing signals to be better understood by both and strengthening the relationship.
